Christine Navarro, Moon Shadows Magazine, May 2006 This is a great book, one that anyone who practices any type of spellwork should have in his or her library. It's well delivered, easy to comprehend, and there is so much material in this book though you could utilize, I strongly suggest reading this book. Darkness Embraced If this is your first exposure to spellbooks, congratulations - you have made a good choice, and one which will serve to demystify the entire process of spellcasting. If, on the other hand, you have already had experience in spellwork, this book may expose you to a differing approach which can expand your base of knowledge. In either case the money spent for this book will be a good investment. Michael Gleason, alt.religion.wicca.moderated While the book includes many essentials commonly found across the vast array of available spell books, it also offers less typical guidance, such as a helpful warning against practicing spells while pregnant. As well, readers are sure to enjoy some of the more unusually pleasurable spells, including a wonderful-sounding bath spell to alleviate writer's block; cookie spells; sex spells; and many others.
