  1. Evn says:

    Is #1 Terrence Stamp?

  2. deblipp says:

Well, Stamp has played a drag queen, but as far as I know, not the other two.

  3. Kathy says:

Is #1 William Hurt? I don’t know why he comes to mind, but maybe there’s something buried in my subconscious.

  4. TehipiteTom says:

    Is #5 George C. Scott?

  5. deblipp says:

    Kathy, no, Tom, yes.

  6. Barbs says:

    #1 John Malcovich?

  7. Barbs says:

    #3 Tim Curry?

  8. fiona says:

#6 Charlize Theron and #4 Isabella Rossalini?

  9. fiona says:

    Is #1 Wesley Snipes?

  10. deblipp says:

Holy cow, all these wrong guesses!

I’ll wait a bit and see if I need to re-write the quiz. I might give years.

  11. Steve H. says:

Better to invite ridicule than to not play, so…

    2. Anne Bancroft
    6. Nicholas Cage
    4. Diana Rigg

  12. norbizness says:

#1: Rutger Hauer? Nighthawks (terrorist) and Blind Justice (blind man), but not sure where he was a woman.

Where was Nicolas Cage a fashion model? Birdy? Vampire’s Kiss?

  13. deblipp says:

Steve, you got #4. Norbizness, #1 is not Rutger Hauer.

  14. Brandi says:

    #6 – Angelina Jolie

  15. Evn says:

How about Philip Seymour Hoffman? Is #1 Philip Seymour Hoffman?

  16. deblipp says:

Evn, you should be ashamed of your lack of drag queen expertise. (No one else needs to be ashamed; just Evn.)

    Brandi, good job.

  17. TehipiteTom says:

Just out of curiosity, who was the other general (the obvious one, I know)? I knew Flim-Flam Man, but had only a vague recollection of a bank robbery; I had to look up Bank Shot (after guessing).

  18. Evn says:

Evn, you should be ashamed of your lack of drag queen expertise.

Yeah, I’m kinda butch that way.

  19. deblipp says:

I don’t know which one you think is obvious, Tom, both Dr. Strangelove and Patton are about equally famous.

  20. fiona says:

    Is #2 Diane Keaton ?

    and #7 Walter Matthau?

  21. deblipp says:

fiona, yes on #2, no on #7.

  22. TehipiteTom says:

Oh, duh. Somehow it never even occurred to me that the other might be a fictitious general.

  23. Melville says:

    #7 is Spencer Tracy.
    Is #3 Gary Oldman?

That would make #1 the Bond connection…

  24. TehipiteTom says:

Mel beat me by 3 minutes on Spencer Tracy. And I think Diana Rigg is the Bond connection.

  25. Melville says:

And I think Diana Rigg is the Bond connection.

    Oh, right. Sorry, my bad.

  26. Cosette says:

    Is #1 Hugo Weaving?

  27. Evn says:

AAARG. Well, at least I guessed a drag queen from the same movie…

  28. deblipp says:

You did. You were SO close.

  29. […] a tough one, so I added co-stars. Filed under: Trivia — deblipp @ 8:45 […]

  30. TehipiteTom says:

Hint clarification request: there are 4 movies by my count, and co-stars for three; can we assume those are the first 3 of the 4?

  31. deblipp says:

God, I’m so sorry. No, I completely failed to notice the first movie, which is the one that inspired choosing this actor in the first place. Fixed.

  32. TehipiteTom says:

And apparently, the second movie of #3 is yet another Bond connection. (I knew the first and fourth right away; the other two I had to look up.)

On edit: by the way, I enjoyed this one so much I’m going to do my own quiz that’s the inverse of it. 😉

  33. deblipp says:

Yes, I had two Bond connections. I did Krabbé first. But you know, it’s very hard to find actresses with roles other than “wife of” or “mother of” or “prostitute,” and Bond women are formidable.
