    Just for fun, I checked some popular bloggers’ last names. Looks like Atrios (Black) is just about the most popular (150), while Kos (Moulitsas) is the least (not in the top 55,000).

    Maiden name (Tolman) 9648 – how ununique 😛
    However my maiden name – Stewart – is 51 lol!

    My family name (my real name, not my Pagan name Gruagach) is 1989th in the ranking.

    I did some playing with the page and found that Smith is ranked as #1. Johnson is #2. Brown in #5.

    Checking on Arthur’s behalf, I find that Bonewits isn’t in the top 55,000. But Isaac did research on family names and discovered that relatives are also named Bonewitz (43949) and Bonawitz (32857).

    As a Dales I got 28813.It sounds common but we are quite rare.
