It’s like some kind of tic

Giuliani has moved beyond being the “Mayor of 9/11” and of playing the 9/11 card tastelessly and often. He now simply says it over and over. I think he has 9/11 topping on his breakfast cereal.

Mentioning it—virtually randomly—in response to Hillary’s “emotionalism” today, and last week in response to his Iowa caucus loss; I mean, what is that except some kind of mental deficit?

Joe Biden said something along the lines of, “There are three parts to a Giuliani sentence. Noun, verb, and 9/11”.

Well, it got Bush reelected, it must be a good strategy and it will scare those conservatives into voting for him….

This will be over by my birthday on Feb 7… Bradley came out for Obama?? Still hard for me to see him as presidential though I like what he says — Buit Democracy Now (a Pacifica tv show – and a brilliant one) talks about the inner circle of each contender– and in many ways they all talk about change, but their advisors are same old, same old. We all want to know what will happen – More than I can ever remember – even including 1968

Part of why it’s interesting is because truly, whichever Democrat gets the nomination is almost a shoo-in if Iowa is any indication. I am most interested in seeing which way the 45% of New Hampshire Independents voted; not so much which candidate as which party.

In Iowa, the votes went: Obama, Edwards, Clinton, Huckabee. Everyone declared Huckabeee the Republican winner without noting that he couldn’t beat the Democratic loser in Iowa. If NH is similar, that’s very meaningful.
