Rock on. Its still too close to call for Fla gov. with GOP slightly ahead. I was suprised Katherine Harris got as much as she did, although Bill Nelson has it Locked. Suprisingly enough, Foley’s seat is very close

Well, NBC just called it for Crist…although I called it for Crist on 3/1/05. Hehe. But we could do worse than Crist. At least he’s going to be pretty decent on gay issues.

    Yay for slapping around ratfuckers!

So uber-pissed with a Dem friend in VA who refused to vote for Webb.

  3. deblipp says:

Why refuse to vote for Webb?

Jesus fuck, it’s going to be down to less than 10,000 votes in VA? How can anyone vote for Allen??

  4. Amy says:

He says that he can’t forgive Webb for backing Dubya in 2000.

  5. deblipp says:

Oh grow the fuck UP (your friend, not you)

  6. Amy says:

Pretty much what I’m thinking. It’s a 2300 margin in VA. I am epically pissed.

Well I’m happy to say that pRick Santorum was soundly spanked, 59-41, i what was clearly an rather than a vote…. I don’t know anybody who actually supported Casey, it was all “Dump Rick”.

    Mission Accomplished

  8. Ken says:

“i what was clearly an rather than a vote” was supposed to read “in what was clearly an *ant-* rather than a *pro-* vote”, but my italics didn’t work for some reason……

  9. deblipp says:

Congrats, Ken. The MSNBC commentators were saying that the suburban Philly vote was crucial in dumping Rick, and I thought of you.

Casey purposely stayed out of the limelight and let Rick do his campaigning for him; refused interviews and debates and appearances. He knew which side his bread was buttered on.

  10. Ken says:

Casey’s probably going to be a disaster as a Senator. But there are two positives about his election….

    1. It gets us that much closer to a Democratic majority in the Senate, and

    2. What do you want? An ineffective senator who supports the things you don’t and doesn’t support the things you do, or an effective senator who supports the things you don’t and doesn’t support the things you do….

We’ve got six years to come up with a good Democratic replacement for Casey now…… 😉

You have a point Ken but personaly I hate having to vote for lesser evils and much prefer to vote for someone I like.
